Success ideas to share (RICH.TXT)

Hi everyone.
I would appreciate any ideas you can share with me
to make my new project RICH.TXT successfull more quickly.

Though RICH.TXT can be evaluated as "MDHP copycat" - it does not matter.
Since it is valuable for me and advertisers - it is worth doing.

Actually it's a best project for me "here and now": It is smth I want, I can, I should and I must. So, my work is to look for promote ideas and implement them.

Any ideas how to make it popular?

The Millon Dollar Homepage was succesful because of word of month.
People who visited would tell their friends isn't that guy with the million dollar homepage crazy? Then someone else said but hey he got already XYZ links sold.

Since you aren't able to tell an interesting story yourself about your site, why do you except that other people will tell their friends that kind of story?

So, my work is to look for promote ideas and implement them.

You don't understand why the Million Dollar Hompage succed. Because it is an idea that promotes itself.

Is was so innovative that it produced word of mouth.

Since it is valuable for me and advertisers - it is worth doing

It is neither valuable for you (except maybe as a learning experience) nor for your advertisers.

I think you are on the right track in my humble opinion, but why reinvent the wheel? I would only get involved with something that didn't cost a dime and is obviously nothing I could ever create on my own. Maybe I'M missing the point however. I don't mean to be a dream-killer. I can't stand that when it happens to me! Listen, good luck with your MDHP.

SeriousKidding, thank you very much! Your post helped me to realize the fact: I have the correct business model, but I need a better idea to promote.

No matter if richtxt.com is changed a few more times - it is done.
I have already some strong ideas - will implement them soon.

Anybody has more ideas about the best way to promote richtxt.com?

To give you a bit useful advice:
Use a lower price for the first sales and increase that price as you get more customers.
Something like the first letter costs 1$ the second 2$ the third 3$ etc.
If you are right and your site does really succed that will get you more money. (maybe work a bit on those numbers)
It also drastically reduces the entry barrier for your all important first customers.

Actually richtxt.com is changed. I'm still using the MDHP business model, but (with respect to my dreams) the idea is different now.
