Default Alternative to Quickbooks Online?

I was about to sign up for QuickBooks Online ( QuickBooks Online Product Overview ) for my business until I saw that it only runs on Windows with IE. My partner uses a Mac so this is a deal-breaker for us.

Is there any other web-based account software package that you guys can recommend?

[begin rant] I can't understand why they would build a web-based product that only works on one platform. Cross-platform use is one of the biggest benefits of building a web-based product. But, that's a different question. [end rant]

I found quite a few free financial software solutions at ZenHabits. The only one I have tried is GnuCash, but the one that seems to be the most cross-platform compatible is Google Spreadsheets.

I love Quickbooks online, but I hear Freshbooks is also very good. I don't know if it works on a Mac, but I assume it does.

Freshbooks is great for invoicing and time tracking on service based projects.

It is web-based so it is Mac friendly. Freshbooks is not complete accounting program though, so if you're looking to make financial statements or do payroll maybe a combination of google speadsheets and freshbooks may do.
