| I'm toying with the idea of putting a single frame subliminal message in a staff presentation I have to make next week. Basically I don't seem to be taken particulalry seriously in my company because what I do is marketing/design in a very technical industry. They all speak in acronyms and my role holds no interest to them. On several occasions I've asked for feedback, looked for information, made requests etc to have them roundly ignored as my need doesn't fit with what they do. It's difficult to get yourself heard. It's interesting that through my graphic skills my involvement in the staff meeting seems to revolve around making them laugh. Therefore my presentations tends to use PhotoShop trickery rather than meaningful business data. It is with humour that I AM appreciated. While I enjoy that stuff it's a bit demoralising careerwise hence me wanting to put a subliminal message like: 'Hello! I do exist y'know!' or 'Get me outta here!' Chances are I won't do it but it's tempting. Does anyone else feel unappredciated at work?

| Actually, on a serious note, how ethical would this be to put in subliminal messages in any kind of presentation? I know they do it in TV ads but what about sales presentations? Maybe it's OK but none of us like to think that we're being tricked in anyway. It's certainly not something you'd want to get publicised.

Subliminar messages aren't effective.
