Flipping on the Monetization Switch

I have worked on a few websites that are bringing in about 200 unique visitors a day combined. I never really did much to monetize them.

I have identified at least two products I want to sell that should be of interest to my general audience. The visitor patterns are pretty diffuse; some come in to read this article, some to that, some to the other. I want to make a generalized funnel that will bring them to a single sales page.

I was thinking I could use something like the twitter "Follow Me" banner you see on the 4 Hour Work Week Blog (in the right hand margin): The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss

Only, I would want something maybe a little bigger and attention-grabbing that links to an internal page instead of twitter. Is there an easy way to implement this with Wordpress?
