What career requires analyzing and making decisions rather than implementation?
I have identified my strengths as analyzing, planning, making decisions, basically, thinking and figuring things out. What career requires these qualities?
I have only come up with the stock market and sport coaching.
I'm asking because my experience is that I feel very comfortable with thinking about problems (like playing chess) but that I'm not so interested in implementing the results.
For example, I get interested in different areas whether it's sports, music or programming, but after I learn the basics, get some understanding, and it's time to actually do that work, I don't care as much or not at all.
It seems that I just like to analyze what needs to be done.
Currently, I'm a student of business management and administration without serious work experience.
Thanks for your ideas.

Actually you will find those qualities in the management level of any industry of any profession. The trouble is that nobody is going to give you a management position straight away.
Look in the directions of:
- internal / external auditing
- market research / intelligence
- so many more, just look at job boards and read job descriptions
