Looking for Guidance I'm 16 and I'm interested in making money online but I don't know where to start. If I make a niche website my options for making money are limited because I am underage, I can't use google adwords. Even if I could though, I don't know where to start with SEO research. Does anyone have any links or names of reliable books/websites that can help me get started? |
First off- Do you want to have your own website? If you do then you really need a credit card. My suggestion is that you have to learn the ways of getting traffic first. In a way, create a blogspot or wordpress.com account and create a blog. There are so many ways to get traffic and too many resources in the web. Search for them and find the one that works. There are losts of resources such as 1. Copyblogger.com 2. Problogger (for bloggers) 3. SEObook |
My eventual plan is to have my own website(s). I already have a blogspot blog, but its more personal, its mostly there to just get into the habit of writing. I'll look into that stuff, thankyuh. (: |

The search function on that forum is insane. The knowledge you could gain from one solid month of reading the archives in the main forum alone is ridiculous. There is plenty of FREE information out there, especially for those who know where to look. Again, you will very likely feel overwhelmed on your first visit. It's natural, simply close your browser and go back in once those feelings have subsided. In terms of making money online there are about a hundred different ways of doing it, yet for most it boils down to three main methods. 1. Selling your own product or service online. 2. Generating revenue through advertising on your site. 3. Affiliate marketing. So where do the hundred different ways come from? There is at least that many different techniques to those three methods and probably more. |
