Default SBI Buy One, Get One Free

Just posting this as a heads up that the SBI Christmas Special has started.

The special is: If you order one SBI site package (a 1-year subscription), they will give you a 2nd package (another 1-year subscription for a 2nd site) for free.

You can wait up to 9 months from your purchase date to activate the 2nd package, at which time it will last for whole year from that date. This means that you can start your first site on January 1, 2012, and not start your 2nd site until September, 2012, and both site subscriptions will last for 365 days each before you have to renew them.

The free 2nd site package is only for the first year, however. I have noticed a few people in the SBI forums every so often pop up and be surprised that they have to pay for the 2nd site after the first year of free service. So yes, you have to pay for it after the first year (or end the service and don't pay anything if you don't want to continue it).

The deal is essentially giving you two $299 SBI packages for only one payment of $299 instead of, well, two payments.

While keeping the 2nd site subscription and developing it yourself is fine, I believe SBI intends for people to take advantage of the offer in order to give a free subscription as a gift to someone else who may be interested in SBI but can't afford it.

The deal is probably up until Christmas or maybe the end of December, although I'm not 100% sure when it ends. But this is the only time of the year that they do this specific deal, and this is the best offer they give all year.

If you are interested, their main sales page for SBI is located here. And no, that is not an affiliate link, because I don't sell SBI as an affiliate. Although maybe I should start doing that...
