 |  Photo Bucket - Am I safe to assume
I crawled out from under my rock and stumbled upon Photo Bucket. Can't believe I didn't know about them before. They have incredible pictures. Much better than other sites. Am I safe to assume that these are free and can be used on my blog? I searched the site and didn't see anything contrary plus they have Share buttons right on the picture. Am I really able to use these awesome photos for free?

I don't know but I use these photos on my blog and I know they are free (attribution required): Flickr photos or video with a Creative Commons Attribution License Note it's not the whole of flickr, just the creative commons section. You could send an email to photobucket with your inquiry. If you find out it's okay to use them, do tell me okay?! |

Yeah, I agree with Andrew. Photo Bucket has a HUGE base of photos, but they are user generated and by default, if a user published it, the user owns the copyright and it would be up to them to decide its use. I also recommend going the Flickr route, only because they have a very useful advanced search feature where you can sort by CC licenses. In anything you do, disclose and attribute. Take care, Chad. |
