Congratulations on the decision to sell your creations online Here's some very good information to help you get started: How to Take Action and Get Stuff Done for Artists Blog w/Interviews That's it! The best way to get things done is not to overwhelm yourself with information. Start with one good resource, follow the advice given, and to get to work. Most of the time new entreprenuers and seasoned ones waste time by trying to learn as much s*** as possible. Read one or two good sources, take notes, and don't worry about figuring everything out! Just DO something. It's fine to mess and up and have failures. I've failed so many times I can't even count all my failures on both my hands. I need my hands AND my toes to count all of my f*** ups. But I'm proud of my failures because they've allowed me to become a better person and mentor. Plus, I've made more money by messing up and then correcting myself, than by trying to do what doesn't work over and over again. Start here and then get moving. Have your business up and running in 30 days, you can do it Peace, Alex |

If you want to sell original works and prints, you can sell them on etsy.com, but you have to find someone to make the prints for you. If you want to just upload your artwork and have it printed on various items, you can try zazzle or cafepress. I've heard bad things about cafepress' print quality, and it seems to me like zazzle is more geared toward allowing artists to flourish and less on just letting anyone upload crap to make money (which is basically all cafepress is if you try shopping there). Etsy has a great community where you can go and ask questions about copyrights, selling strategies, anything you could possibly think of! I don't sell on etsy yet but I've browsed their forum for ideas and tips! Today I also learned about a site called imagekind.com. Apparently a full-time artist I know (not personally, because she's fairly well-known on the internet) sells her artwork there, among many other places (she actually has a shop on zazzle too). Maybe you could check it out and see if it would work for you? Good luck!
