Personally, I find that the best way to make money online, is to either work as a contractor, or start an online business/website When I say work as a contractor, I mean that there are many websites out there, such as getafreelancer.com or guru.com where people post projects, such as website design, writing, etc. and you, as the freelancer/contractor can bid on these projects. And the second way would be to just create some sort of money making website. But whatever you do, if something sounds to good to be true, I promise you it is, so stay away from it. You also want to stay away from any data entry jobs, or taking surveys for money, as they're usually rip offs. But in terms of actual legit jobs online, they do exist, but for someone living in north america, it wouldn't be worth it, because the web is international, and you'd be competing with a lot of 3rd world countries. For instance, if an average blue collar job is $1/hour in india, than you're essentially competing with people who are willing to work for less than $1/hour online... Catch my point? So, if you're trying to make money, start your own online business, because a 5 star rating contractor/freelancer or else you'd be better off doing any minimum wage factory job in the US |

There are handful of opportunities that allow you to work online and from home. You can try the following - 1. Freelance/Full time content writing 2. Medical transcription 3. Medical coding and billing 4. Graphic/Web design For a career in writing you'll need good typing and research skills. For transcription, coding and billing you should complete training from an online vocational school . For Graphic/web design you can complete a training and then start working with any company. However, to grow in the graphic/web design field it is recommended to complete a degree program that will not only prepare you for a job but will also help you grow as a professional in the long run. For more detailed advice you can search online and see what kind of online jobs are available and then decide on something that interests you. Hope this helps. |
