any new idea seems stupid at first, this is a good sign, this is a sign this is something really new

haha its actually the quote I was thinking about, I just couldn't remember which one it was. Damn my head is full with stuff like that lol...

He's so right by the way, people love there balance in life. A major revelation, something that changes the world will always be resisted because its in human nature to resist change...

The main reason that people resist changes is only partially due to the fact that they need balance in their lives... the main reason that they resist new ideas or concepts is due to this phenomena...

When the brain is subjected to a stimulus... it immediately goes into its reference bank to determine what that stimulus (concept or idea) means.. so, in the case of anything new... there are no references... so the brain tends to think that it is non sequitur or non invalid... so, they dismiss it.

Well you explained it much better than I did lol but thats what I meant. New stimulus get resisted because the brain doesn't know them and goes back to its old state (balancing). Do I make sense now?

I agree. $640K should be enough for anyone.

Usually I can explain things quite clearly to other people, its something I've been complimented on a lot. This time it wasn't quite what I meant haha, I blame it on english not being my native language !! (I LOVE that excuse lol)

$5 million by the time I'm 30, I'm 18 now, so 12 years and counting. Is it a reasonable goal? Probably not. Will I try to achieve it anyway? Yes.
