Default Post your plans/assets/investments/streams of income.

In a recent thread, people where asked to post their Net Worth.
It is nice to know what somebody's net worth is, but I think it's much more inspirational/motivational to know what's it all about. What are we doing with our net worth. Is our net worth spend on Big screen TV's, cars boats and large houses? Or are we using them to conquer Real Financial Freedom. Like kiyosaki said 'Who is making their money work FOR THEM, instead of working for your money?

I think it would be nice to see how, and how much everybody is making.
Where do you put your money, and what is doing well, and what not ?
What do you invest in? yourself, the stock market, real estate, ....

What is your plan ?

You don't need to fill in numbers if you don't want to.

Here's mine.

I don't have much assets right now, but I'm going to change that.

My major investments at this time goes to myself (books, time, education)

I'm putting most of my time in a new project, I know for sure it will make me some huge profits. With that profits I'm going to invest in some real nice assets, and maybe some other projects/ideas I have in mind.

In the near future I'm going to take a course in Real Estate, not really for the commercial part, but the part of the Law, Taxes, Do's and dont's, Etc...

SO, What are your plans, investments, etc...

Default My thoughts

I own a lawn and landscape company. This pays my wife and I a paycheck and we "rent" an office from ourselves. I am gearing up to step away in a few years so I am implementing subcontractors right now - my plan is to grow the business by 10% per year for 5 years and up the amount of landscape work the subs do by 20% for five years (10% fifth year so we retain 10% of the work) - which will free me up to manage. the other half of the business is mowing and will mostly remain "in house".

I also own a web design hosting SEO business which has a net profit enough to fund my ROTH ira and a few other things. This gives about $1,000 month passive income if I don't do any design, etc.

working with adsense now ... making around .50 a day!!! looking to move that decimal two places to the right by year's end!

The state I'm in right now is transitional, but here's my plan ...

INCOME: eBaying appx. $10k of personal assets, then using the money to start a small record company. I expect the label to keep me self-employed, as I have minimal expenses, but in the event I screw this up terribly, I'll pick up a part-time job to cover my ***.

INVESTMENTS: Well, the business is a pretty big investment. But 10% of my earnings will always go to a moderately conservative portfolio (always reinvesting dividends, etc.), and 10% will always go to the church. I hope to put away another 10% for a down payment on some property in 5-7 years, and 5-7 years from that, I hope to pick up a rental property.

Eventually I'd like to get it to where all of my income comes directly from self-employment, and goes directly into investments. I would like to make it a lifestyle habit not to spend more than I need to, and always put the rest (whether it be 10% or 90%) into something that appreciates in value (i.e. vintage furniture, MMAs, real estate, whatev).
