Today Steve tweeted about a tip from Earl Nightingale: every day, write down 20 ideas to improve your life (or a specific area). Soon you will have a ton of ideas, some of them junk, but some of them actionable, and well worth the effort of sitting down and creating this free flow of ideas.

My first reaction was to apply this to my web business, so I quickly wrote down some ideas for increasing my online income. What are your 20 ideas?

Below is my first list. Perhaps we can build a communal list here are feed off each others thoughts......

3. submit to blog carnivals
4. network with more niche bloggers
5. write more guest posts
6. optimize site format
7. optimize banner placement
8. write more hard hitting content
9. make more YouTube videos
10. write more list-based articles
11. research new affiliate products

13. recruit more affiliates
14. give away free stuff
15. build an email list
16. write a monthly e-newsletter
17. run competitions

OK so I did 25... and some of them are pretty obvious, but that's the way it's supposed to work - just get it all out.
