| So, in a general sense, I have set a goal to start a website that brings in enough revenue for me to quit my job. Problem has usually been that I'm the "Ready...aim...aim...aim..." type. Thus, I have created additional pressure. I work with a friend who has the same goal. We have made a bet: Who can start a business and yield enough from it to quit our job (we have the exact same job), first? If I win, I take him out to some swanky places, and publically annouce to crowds of people, most of which contain gorgeous and sucessful people, that I am superior to him in every way, all night long. If he wins, he will buy me a steak, but then he is going to make me pull a carriage downtown (like a rickshaw) with a sign that says he is the better businessman. Further, I announce that if I loose, I will post the pictures on this website. Play-time is over |

| If you're having a hard time starting your site up... maybe you should figure out why you're not motivated enough to do it on your own. Perhaps it's not your calling or not what you want to do. The experiment you're performing with your friend sounds very childish and negative; you should write articles and create content because it flows from your inner being, not so you can feel superior to your friend. |
