 |  Help with blog advertising
Hi all, I started out a blog (Wake Up World) under 3 months ago and quite honestly it started off as a place for me to vent about mass media. It quickly took on a life of its own and has evolved a lot in a short time. I was not interested in having any ads on my site, but I didn't expect the traffic I am getting either. In under 3 months I have had 28,000 unique visitors, nearly 50,000 unique page-views, alexa ranking of 289,922 and have been ranked PR4 by google. I never imagined any of this would possible. A bit blown away by it all actually. So now that I am averaging around 1,000 unique visitors a day, I am wondering if I should capitalise on this traffic by doing some sort of advertising. But this is where I am stuck. I don't know what is the best way to make money through advertising. If anyone could suggest some advertising options that would be awesome. I presume the main one will be Adsense? Also if anyone has some suggestions on how I could improve my blog I am all ears and would love some feedback. Just a few ideas for u... banner advertising ,,,,,yes google adsence and CPA Networks eg, neverblue ,,,just google CPA networks,,,,,place banner advertising ,,,when person clicks on banner and fills in some information perhaps email address or name ,,,or more you will make commission,,,, they do not have to buy anything just give some information,,,,free screen savers,,,,games,,,,test your iq,,,,dating,,,downloads,,,, affiliate advertising...amazon,,,,,clickbank,,,,ebay.... text links,,,, Rent space,,,,,,,allow other bloggers to pay to advertise their Blog or Site on your blog,,,,, just few ideas

Holy cow! That is a fantastic job.. Congratulations x 10000! I wouldn't start using Google Adsense or affiliate products. Instead, I would monetize your blog with your own products (ideas here). It is kinda hard for your niche, as it is more information than anything else. It you cannot come up with some great ebook/video program and/or a continuity program, I would definitely create a forum and place Adsense on those. I think it would be a pity on the blog - it looks so nice. Congratulations again! |
