Anyone else heard of Adsense Revenue Sharing?

The Earn money while you surf blog has inspired me to consider even more ways to earn income.

I also belong to another forum that has this concept where forum members get paid and also drive traffic to their sites. When attractive and valuable threads are created by members with an Adsense account, you can earn impressions and get paid. This is also voluntary, which means not all members don’t have to participate in the program.

The only downside I could see to this is that some people might be put off by the displayed ads.

Anyway, I think this is a good way for members to earn even more money from Google Adsense. I don’t know all the technical details or how to install all the programming code, etc. So if this interests Steve or anyone else, here is the link to the site that has an FAQ on the concept:

If you pay people to do something they do it for the money. That is not something you would want in a forum like this.

Agreed. I encountered this idea a year or two ago on a webmaster forum and though it seemed interesting, but I wouldn't want to implement it here. I think it would really alter the dynamics of this place in a negative way. For certain other types of forums though like a marketing forum, I can see it working OK.

Alright, I wasn't exactly sure if it could be applied to this type of forum anyway, as the other group I belong to is a webmaster forum.
