Default SBI's Brainstorm It vs. Market Samurai

Anyone use both Market Samurai and SBI's Brainstorm It?

I've used SBI's Brainstorm It tool, and I like it alot, I like how it provides a guideline for how many people are searching for a given keyword (Demand) and how much potential competition there is (Supply). However, I don't know if it justifies paying $300 a year for it (excluding all of SBI's other features).

I haven't used Market Samurai, but it's a one-time fee of $149.

I have used both SBI's brainstormer and Market Samurai. I like them both actually. I think Market Samurai does a real good job of visually showing what's a good niche, especially with their backlink analysis. Brainstormer is more basic than samurai but still gives great information about keywords supply and demand values. Ideally I would use both because I feel they compliment each other well.

Yes market samurai costs a lot less than SBI. However, I always tell people you aren't paying SBI for the tools, you are paying for the education and support. Being in SBI is like going to a business school. Yes you can get all the books and lectures other places, but you can't duplicate the results. Having a successful online business is more than just having the right tools. You have to understand how to use them properly, be around people who have done what you're trying to do, have support from them etc.

If this is your first time starting an online business (or if you have started one before but didn't get the results) I would suggest using SBI. Once you have understood the fundamentals, then you can use other tools to expand. Hope that helps. Best of luck!

Get Market Samurai. The keyword tool is free. You can pay for the rest if it suits you.
