Question How to make money from Scratch?

I am 32 yo I sparsely have 4-5 years of total "bad" experience in various employers, and I wouldn't like to work for employer again any more... I have no savings, 0 in money....

I have financial goals. E.g Build Marketing/Sales network, Real Estate activies, Organize Profitable Technology Projects, Tourist Services, Build a Team of Like Minded people, Councelling. Expand beyond Borders.

It seems that I keep thinking and thinking and still stuck, short in that clever idea that will sparkle the beggining. I litterally have $0.00 for invesment right now.

The biggest problem, I think for all businesses, is the luck of useful contacts and alliences. Please don't tell me that I need to work for an employer for other 5 years in order to save money and get the contacts to get me started. This is not a solution. I know life is hard, but I am already 32 yo. with enough failures.

How can I get started like this people? Any ideas?
Thanks very much.

A better question to ask is: How can I create value from scratch?

As steve said, figure out how YOU can help THEM and than eventually charge them for it. If you give enough value they'll be happy to pay for it...

You can think fancy thoughts all day long but what it comes down to is that you have to put in the hours. You don't have to provide value, just put in the hours and really work really hard. Far to many finds "too much" inspiration in Steve Pavlina. It is not hard to make money during the hype of 1) Technology 2) Blogs 3) Personal Development Movement.

Good luck to you!

Thanks for the suggestions Guys... Yes that was a better question....
"How can I create value from scratch?"

Its true that I focus on dynamics first and not at actual results (money).

The exakt opposite is true. Small ideas first.
In order to make one hundred dollars you first have to make ten.

In my experience it is very hard to "create value from scratch" unless you have a passion you are responding to. I started a company 4 years ago with no money (I did have a lot of contacts and identified a niche market that needs weren't being met) and although the money was/is good it's hard to motivate oneself to do the work that comes with creating money on your own unless you are passionate about what you are doing. I'm in the process of stepping out of that business and figuring out where to go next...

I'd second starting as Steve suggests by figuring out what niche could you fill, what can your talents lead you to give?? I know that feels impossible when you're in the situation you are in but I truly think it is the only sustainable way to create value. Good luck!

Just pick a field and stick to it.

People make money from all different sources -- selling ebooks, playing poker, coaching etc. Pick a field you like and get good at it -- that's when the money starts pouring in.

I must disagree. A person can work their fingers to the bone, sixty hours a week. If what they are doing provides no value, they won't make money. Or not much anyway. It happens everyday.

If, on the other hand, one creates an idea of value to others and works their tail off to provide that value, well, Jackpot!

Think what you will about the "inspiration" of Steve Pavlina, but comments such as those which re-frame thinking to a more productive line of thought:

I'm not certain that I understand. (Not sure what to make of the quotes around your post.)

Ingvar Kamprad did not make his fortune selling pens, though I'm certain that tenacity helped him later in life. He is a good example of my point. He created something of value to people; in his case it was furniture. Once you create value, i.e. something other people want, then it naturally follows that you can make money from that thing because people will pay for something that they value.

And I agree that there are a lot of people out there talking "big" on the Internet. It does take more than a valuable idea to make money. You must be willing to work at least hard enough to get that product or service available and out there to see. However, the fact that the small percentage of folks that do make it big all seem to be saying the same thing (value!) suggests that they have their ingredients right.

Find out how to make value based on your skillset. In other words, find out what you're good at and see how you can utilize that to create value.

The most important thing is that you are glued to your work! What this means is that you MUST work cca. 12-18 hours a day...
After you set up the business and start making money and advancing it to MM business only then you can think of leisure lifestyle... even in leisure time you will work... but you will not call it work!

...just a suggestion, but if you haven't already, I would recommend reading "Think and Grow Rich". It is a great book, filled with practical advice and is timeless.

All the best.

Many smiles!

Make friends with people who are working, just like you, towards fulfilling their goals. Surround yourself with positivity and support. I'm in the same boat, and I'd be happy to talk some more.

You could accept offers of friendship from people who are working, just like you, toward fulfilling their goals (like Isis Kali) when they are given.

On a broader level, I think just allowing yourself to be open to those friendships will go a long way towards your discovering and cultivating those opportunities.
