Every page I post get's indexed immediately... except one recent one. #1 Key to Maintaining Successful Relationships It is over 7000 words long. All my other posts range from 500-1000 words. What say you guys? Maybe I'll just incorporate it into an ebook or something... |

I've noticed that the signatures on the Steve Pav forums are good places to find good blogs.

I work for an SEO firm (though not employed as an SEO marketing specialist myself) and AFAIK you can only be too short, not too long. Many other factors are involved...are you sure you've accounted for all variables, that the only difference is the word count?? Maybe it's the fact that all your babes are blondes with implants! You know Google likes real content, not any duplicated.... |

I'm of the Pavlina school of thought that if you are going to write an article, then write a damn article with some meat in it. In other words, if your articles aren't 2000 words (but hopefully more), then you aren't covering the subject with enough depth to really provide value to your readers. Use Steve's site here as an example and get in the habit of writing meaty articles. Don't pander to the 500-1000 word article crowd or to google. Pander to word of mouth, and if your articles provide value, then word of mouth will spread like wildfire. |

If you're going to write a sales letter, write one. If you're going to write an article, write one.
