I finally did it. The World of Lucid Dreaming Forum is here......

This is a major step for me, something I have been dragging my feet on for far too long. Time to take a big leap..... and see what happens.

The launch also marked my website's 1 millionth unique web visitor since its inception.

I thought I'd share it here as I know there are a few fans who might wanna join up.
It also shows what can happen when you start a website with a neat little program called Site Build It

Thanks for checking it out. Constructive feedback is welcome. I'm also seeking another mod for when things get rolling, so please PM me if you think you might be interested.

That is wonderful, Rebecca!!! I wish you the best. I will have to go register, I have worked on this (lucid dreaming,) and have had challenges. I hope it gets busy fast

That's pretty dope. I might finally get around to doing this thing this summer. I started reading about lucid dreaming a couple months back and was blown away, lol.

I was interested in setting up a forum on my SBI site as well. Do you have any suggestions and tips on how to do this? Thanks!

Cheers guys!

I am using phpBB to run my forum. I got my partner Pete to set it up as he is tech-minded. He says it's pretty easy but you need some knowledge of setting up an SQL database. I don't even know what that is

Another way to run a type of forum with SBI is to use Content 2.0. Create a page of topics and create buttons with View Topics or Start Topic, like this example from Anton's Sleep Forum It's not as automated but still a good, simple way to have your readers generate lots of new content for you.

Hey congrats..
Little review about your forum..
1.Color theme is very good

2.The images on your site does not have alt text which is not good from SEO point of view so add alt tags.
3.Add XML & HTML sitemap.
4.Add permanent redirect (301) between www & non www of your site.Once set you will get full search engine credit for your work on these sites.
5.You can write articles/blog related to your niche.
