Default How Has Your Perception of Blogging for Income Changed?

We've all read Steve's posts on how to make money blogging. Many of us have started our own blogs as a result.

How has your perception of blogging for income changed since you first read Steve's inspirational posts?

-Was it harder than you thought?
-Easier?
-Did you find other reasons to blog?
-Would you do it all over again?
-Would you do it without the money?
-How else has your perception changed?

I started blogging daily in September last year. I'm still in the early stages of my blog as I haven't had the top quality content until recently. I'm also building an audience reader by reader, I think.

It's more interesting than I thought, but I find I don't always write about what I intend... I enjoy doing blogging, but having the money factor encourages me to blog regularly. As a result, my posts have become longer, more detailed, more thoughtful and more interesting.

Default Blogging

I really enjoy it - it takes a long while to write quality content though. Its helping to consolidate my ideas on the area that interests me. Its a little like journalling for me - but for the world!

That's interesting. I find that I am not writing about the same things that I thought I would when I started. Also, I have migrated to shorter, less detailed articles (the exact opposite as you!)

I didn't realize that it would be such a great exchange of ideas with like-minded people. For that reason alone, I'd continue even if there weren't any money involved.
