+While unemployment has stayed consistent there has been a constant fall in manufacturing and constant gain in Basic Service sector jobs. From what I've noticed men are not interested in basic service sector jobs or government jobs as women and would prefer skilled work and private industry. +If you have someone to fall back on generally the recession didn't hurt you as badly. This particularly effected single middle aged men and women. Women naturally communicate and have more connections in most cases then men. +Baby boomers retire, basic service sector jobs will continue to rise I don't have too many other points here, I'm personally struggling as a private equity investor and while studying the economy, I just found this cheesy video interesting. YouTube - Unemployment Men vs. Women Would love some feedback. |

We're the baby carriers, therefore we have to develop more survival traits. I mean, let's take a look at human history. Who survives wars and famines in greater numbers? Women. We're not as likely to march off to battle, and we carry more body fat for a reason. Survival of the species. |

You guys are silly. There's two sexes. What are the chances that they would both end up equally unemployed. Chances are, it's mostly luck of the draw. As for arguing that woman are stronger survivors, um... okay. How about we move on from these ridiculous contests between the sexes. Woman and men really aren't that different except for reproductive organs. You can probably find articles or studies to contradict this, but it's completely observable if you actually watch with a close eye. There are certainly very distinct differences between "female" and "male" energies on certain levels, but there are far more similarities than differences. Human beings - that is what we are. Both a man and a woman can be tough as nails, smart as a whip etc. it's all about the individual. |
