Default Online business of piano tutorials

I gave long consideration to building a high traffic website by posting piano tutorials giving high quality content. Although it might be feasible if i become persistent, many people are suggesting me to first give some free content then turn it into a business ( dvd sales of video piano tutorials or online video tutorial). I think that is a great idea. But i have some doubts regarding this

1- Besides youtube(which will be my no 1 medium for marketing and free video offerings) how else can i promote my tutorials??? I dont know how to implement it in facebook etc

2- What is the number of free tutorials i should put on my site as free offerings.

Thank you all in advance

Hey ,

I offer something similar - it's synth tutorials

Native Instruments Massive

Might be some inspiration for you!
I thought about doing a section on piano lessons - in fact i have an affiliate programme for piano playing on there instead now.

I put all my tutorials on my blog for free btw - traffic is excellent this way.

Thanks!

Sure thing.

Average around 500 unique a day (around 50% returning). It's a very small niche as you know. The traffic is very targeted as i post links to the tuts on music production forums. Ff you Google Native Instruments Massive or NI Massive i sit right under NI. So all in all pretty good. Opt in is high.

There is nothing else really like it out there and there is virtually zero good tutorials for that synth, so as you can imagine it does quite well.

Awesome , i know the hard work it goes behind doing all of this and though the niche is small the people who understand your contribution will be thanking you to their heart's content. You make a difference. You rock. Keep rocking
