Cecil made that point assuming you have a certain level of discipline. By your own admittance, you don't have that discipline.

Improve your discipline, as well. This will probably be the crucial point for you, that is, you'll learn more discipline through getting out of debt, which should hopefully keep you out of debt.

Load yourself up with blogs (if you use an RSS feed aggregator) about debt, personal finance, etc.

I have a bunch more, if you're interested. They not only give great into, but can also serve an additional reinforcement and motivation.

trully agree with you, coollikeme,

What we did (me and my family I mean), we lower to minimum our expenses,
and I mean to minimum.
It's amazing how many small and insignificant expenses we have in our daily life,
check all the things your money goes to,

And of course focus on making more money, there are lots and lots of options,
PM me if you want to hear more.

Take Care.

It's called 'lifestyle inflation'. People earn more, then spend more, then get into trouble when the cashflow suddenly stops.

Here's the key: PAY YOURSELF FIRST! Make all payments automated: both your debt and, once you are out of the red, your savings. This way, the money will ''dissapear' before you have a chance to see it and miss it.
