Default looking for quick income ideas

Hi,

The idea to built my own business and becoming financially independent is my aim. Nevertheless, it takes time to go into this philosophy and put theories into action...

I am at about quiting my current job and thinking how to quickly make some money to pay urgent bills. As in similar cases many other surprises come at the same time. I will be obliged to move soon (the owner of the apartment has changed and has some construction projects).... Will not make a list here.

Maybe some of you could write some insights on how to make some money quickly ?

Any idea would be highly appreciated

mm

ps/ anyway this is a good time to test the LOA in action.

Sell all of your non-essential worldly possessions on Ebay. Not only will this help un-clutter your environment you'll be amazed at how much people will pay for items that you have no use for.

I think that eBay idea is fantastic, if you live in a big city, use Craigslist. I sold a broken 15 inch monitor for $200 USD a few years back, since the guy wanted a part in it. Hoping to get $20 CAD picked up

Throwing that question out, you will get many people coming with ideas, I would suggest
1. Ask them how long they have been doing this idea they present
2. What has it helped them personally do (Not someone they know, who is higher up, if it is MLM).
3. Ask yourself if it is that easy, why are people not doing it. Maybe it is that good, people are scared or lack knowledge you gain
4. Once you find something, give it 100%, no going back

Thanks,
Mukul Verma

Default Don't quit your job now

Hi,

I have the same goal you have. However, I have learned that financial stability is one of the keys to success in a new endeavour. So, in my opinion, you should not quit your current job until your new business earns you as much money as your current job.

If you are financially stable, you can take your time to learn about your new field and make the right decisions.

On the other hand, someone desperate for money can make reckless choices (decisions anyone not desperate for cash would not make) which will lead to failure.

It might take longer to get to work full time on your own business by safeguarding your financial stability but the long term payoffs will be much greater.

Put the LoA in action and sell stuff on Ebay to help you ramp-up your additional income stream quicker but don't put yourself in a desperation situation intentionally.

That's what I will do. Good Luck!

René

Get into bi-phasic sleeping.

It will add an extra 2-4 hours to your day.

Thats 14-28 hours a week, as most people are only awake 16 hours a day, you gain an extra day/day and a half a week which you could devote to your business.

I did that and haven't looked back. I get a lot more done now.

I have a list of 36 ideas on my blog today for generating income without requiring a start-up investment. The intention of the list is to collect in one place, the options for students to earn some money. I suspect if you are looking to generate side-income while you are setting up your business, some of the items in the list may be of help.

Good Luck with your new venture!

Default I have your answer, MM. Boy, Do I!

Dear MM,

I do indeed have your answer. I posted a new thread about it just today, but it no longer exists for reasons unknown to me, but hey, I can handle it. All you have to do is email me: seriouskidding@gmail.com . You won't regret it.
Thanks...grant "brad" gerver

Interesting suggestion! I've actually been considering this recently. There is so much "stuff" just sitting around that I haven't used in years - I might as well sell it. Heck, I could probably spend a month just listing stuff from my basement!

The only thing I dread is the fees and the packing & shipping.

Maybe I'm a little late to the party here... but if you have some urgent bills, don't quit your job! Work on ways to get some other money outside of your job, but it's also important to have that money from the job to help, especially when you have urgent bills to pay!
