Default My Business - Marketing help

To make a long story short, I came up with an idea for a business (Garage Sale listings website) before I started reading Steve's blog. I wasn't going anywhere with implementing it. When I came here, I started on the path most people find themselves in PD and started to grow and take on responsibilities. Over the past 4-5 months, I was working long and hard on this website.

I'm now done developing the core functionality of it and just putting some finishing touches. Aftewards comes the really interesting part of putting it 'out there' to the public and it's exciting/scary at the same time (just thought of that after reading Michelle's post on blogging).

How did all of you promote your online businesses (the service will be available locally for promitional purposes but the website is capable of handling all of North America)?

Targeted traditional advertising and word of mouth can be very powerful for online business as it provides real world proof and a much higher reputation, be it positive or negitive.

Thumbs up Articles

I great and ongoing way is through articles.

Write several articles with how to, the key to
or discover and submit them online. It's an
awesome and econimical way to get long life
with marketing.

The best part, other sites will post them on
their sites, should provide great and useful
content.

So what does your target market want to
or needs to know? Write it!

I hope you've found some value in what I've
shared.

Continue to make this an Awesome day!

Won't Be Denied!
