I assume you want to sell your own t-shirts. what you need is : - domain: $11/year - hosting: ~$150/year - online shop: 0 - ??? /year (paypal offers free tool) - webdesigner Promotion can be done for free but takes a lot of work, or you can choose for paid methods of promotion which will require a budget. Since the t-shirt market is a competitive market i think you'll need a pretty big budget. More info on shoppincarts: here For paid methods of promotion check out google adsense, azoogle or chitika For free methods of promotion read the warriorforum |

Check out zazzle.com for one way of doing it you might think about. I have a friend who has designed a range of t-shirts, cups etc on there. Basically, you supply the design, when an order comes in, they print and dispatch. You never handle the products and in fact you only SEE the products if you order them yourself! Apparently you set your own commission. I think there are other companies doing similar things. It might be a relatively painless way for you to see how much demand for your stuff there might be before you start loading up your living space with inventory! |

With SBI, you would have the freedom, but also the task, of doing all of the website-building yourself. With these companies, they have the whole system set up for you. You just make slightly less profits, which isn't so bad considering how much work it would be to do it yourself. Now you just have to come up with designs that people want to buy... | |
