Hello friends, I wanted to start my new website or blog. However, i stopped every time, because there're so many websites/blogs with my love topics are created by others already. But, yesterday, i found a small empty niche that sounds interesting for me. I didn't find any web/blog is covered that niche. But i've got some doubts about, should i jump on this train or no? 1. Why nobody has created any resource in that niche yet? 2. Web/blog won't be unable to update in that niche during many, many months. 3. Is my English good enough to write unique content for my web or blog? Yeah, I had written 11 articles in English which were sold, but i'm unsure if my articles are quality. I can give a few links to my articles if somebody is interested. I'm pressed with these questions. I would be thankful to you for your suggestions and thoughts. |

Blog all the way! With something like Wordpress you can churn out content over and over again with little to no technical effort. Even with your HTML experience, I still think a blog platform will give you the kind of flexibility you need to succeed in your niche. Having said that, I'm glad you found a unique niche but I also think you should re-evaluate your belief around that idea. Even if your blog/site was not in a totally unique niche, that does not mean you should not persue it. In fact, there is enough good to go around for anyone who is willing to put out high quality content and promote that content to the correct audience. You sound like you have a lot of ambition so I'm sure you will do well. Best of luck! |

I decided not to create a new thread and simply go on my talk here. Well, i've figured a blog is better than a site. I've started to create unique content to my blog, but i've had a problem. Where/how should i get pictures for my blog My blog is dedicated to 250 real historical persons. I've found good pictures on different sites which i'd like to submit at my blog. But how, how can i do it and not break copyright's laws at all? What would you do if you were me? Hope to get your suggestions, friends. |

Search for public domain images directories. Here' s a good place for you to start: U.S. Government Photos and Images: USA.gov There's a huge resource available if you're doing the historical content route, since there is a lot available in the public domain that you are free to use as you see fit. |
