When You write the ebook include links where other materials can be purchased. Make every ebook part of your marketing strategy. This way if you sell a copy you win and if there are five thousand books pirated with your maketing materials included you win. It has worked well for me in the past. I sold an ebook and offered links to purchase audios of the ebook as well as other audios of books I offered.  |

As others have said, it is impossible to completely protect an ebook. My advice would be to take the content of said ebook and create a monetized website around it. Offer the ebook as a free download while making it very clear that there is more content on the site than in the ebook. This will help drive traffic to your site. |

Focusing energy on piracy prevention is not only a waste of time, it is the same corporate mindset that is infecting many nations. Of lack, of greed. There's a lucrative business in piracy prevention technologies and services, they take advantage of this greed and fear. And it's true. If your stuff gets pirated, that means you are successful, because that means it's popular. Just let it be pirated. If you really cannot let go of this, then you have serious problems with how you deal with the world. And that ain't my problem, it's yours.
