The new banner on the main page is nice. just one suggestion and you may be intending to do this already, Use the same banner on each page. It makes the site more coherent.

Also, and I wish I had've thought of this earlier. Have you thought about using software like gallery

One more thing that just occurred to me. You might want to put prices up next to your prints and pictures that are for sale, and if you decide to do commissions, you'll need to have prices there as well.

I just had a look, I just talked to a friend who works for google, and he suggested i put my images in a table, and I think I'm going to do this.

Hi Brendannnz...

I took a look at your site earlier, and at first said, 'it looks all right to me' and left! lol.

Everyone Else's advice seems to be good.

I like your paintings, it really got my attention and stood out.

Now going back to it, I do have a piece of advice, but just on marketing;

Are any of these Paintings for sale?

You can let the surfer know what you have to offer and what you are selling. And preferably if you can, at the top of the page.

At the top it only has, "My name is Brendan! Welcome to my site. Please browse the galleries in the navigation bar above."

The Reader might or might not know if anything is for sale or not.

By letting the reader know exactly what you're offering and selling, they'll know where to look and what to expect.

And it works especially with enthusiasm.

For example, you could try, "Stunning and Beautiful Artwork You can't take your eyes off of", or "We Have Professional And Unusual Looking Artwork and Paintings You have To See"

This type of wording can catch your readers attention, especially if they are looking for paintings to purchase.

If you're willing to do special requests for customers, let them know it too- in the same way...

Good luck....

Yes, and I've got "For sale" and "SOLD" at the moment, I haven't sorted out a price tag yet I'm thinking I might keep it that they contact me if they're interested. Pricing originals is difficult, it's quite a subjective thing.. and also, I'd rather my work wasn't assessed on the surface with any monetary value in mind.

I've already got "for sale" or "Sold" BUT I may have a bit more of a think about that one. Maybe red dots for sold paintings or something.. and maybe more information as you feed into the gallery

That's because the page is under construction, I just haven't gotten round to the blurb for that page yet

Good point, I should mention I can do commissions.

Your art is really good. I do have a suggestion for the site though. Instead of having Wellington gallery 1 Wellington Gallery 2 etc you could have a single Wellington Gallery page and then have page 1, page 2, page 3 etc links in the Wellington Gallery page.
