 |  Help with motivation / working for free
Well, after reading "Working for Free" I decided that I need to start making forward motion - I lack drive at times and have been stalling with getting my fledgling business up and running, so I ask you for help. Come to me with your ideas and needs! want a free logo? I'll give it a try in adobe illustrator. Want to get a blog up and running? I'll help you find a theme that fits and get wordpress (or your preferred CMS) up on your host asap. I just need someone to help me get motivated, and I have a hard time self-starting, so I can help you with my expertise and you can help me with my motivation problem, and help me expand my portfolio as well  Thanks all, -Paul |

Hey Paul, I really like this post. You are putting yourself out there and showing all of us that you are committed to doing what it takes to get your business going. Sometimes just declaring your goals in a public forum will be the one forcing function that takes you over the top. Can you share more about your talents and areas of expertise. Judging by your offer, it sounds like you have design skills. Are you a web designer? Do you do anything else? Thanks Justin |

| Skill Inventory
Well to start with, I am mostly a computer science student, but I can build basic web pages in dream weaver, and make modest things in illustrator - I feel very creative and I like to play with images - PseudoScienceLLC.COM is my web site - the logo on the bottom left I made (when inspired by another image) and I designed the website, it's rather basic as I'm still working on my skills  I am lacking any high-level programming skills, but I'm working on learning PHP and MySQL - I have a great deal of tech support experience and my A+ cert but basically right now I want to focus a bit on my web design side of things and just play around with what I can Thanks for all the positive response! I just finished a move and still have to set up my work station and bust out the heavy-duty creative tools and get cracking! |
