Hi everyone! This is my first post here On another note, i am definitely considering buying SBI.. but i have a question to current owners. Does the keyword tool and brainstorm tool have a limited number of searches? If so how many? Thank you |

If I recall correctly, 30 initial searches are included. After that, you can purchase 50 more for $25 or something like that. Someone else here will surely know for sure. You can also contact SBI directly with your question. Their support is relatively quick.

I'm not an SBI user but I know you can do all kinds of keyword research using free tools like the Google Adwords keyword tool as well as Spacky - Free keyword research tool - Overture, Google, MSN keyword estimator Depending on what features SBI provides, this may save you $25 to try these free routes |

OK. I can confirm that SiteBuildIt offers you 25 searches for your keywords, but the results take time to tabulate properly, and each keyword search offers hundreds of terms. There are also other features as well that might help as well. It's pretty powerful, too. Of course, buying them is also possible, but given the depth of the resources on SBI, I personally don't feel that the additional expense is an issue. Additional pricing is 100 Wordtracker Queries = $20 (USD). The only question is why the initial allotment is only 25! And I can attest to the fact that you can go through them pretty quckly. Don't forget to download the list before you do another query. Kenneth

Yes you can go through them quickly. But if you follow the action guide, this shouldn't be a problem. Just use the 25 words to search for different passions of yours. Once you find one with good results, go for it. In my case I only used like 5 of the searches before I found a selection of keywords with great results.

You only have 25 seed word searches in Brainstorm.. but there's a partial way around it.. Say you put in 'weight loss'; you'll have a file with all results. Later, you can manually add a new word to that file. You'll get the stats for that single word and it doesn't count against the 25 searches. By all means, wait for another special.. SBI always runs them. Meanwhile, I encourage you to begin the work for new site. There's tons of stuff you can do while waiting. Primarily, start researching niches that you're considering. I suggest even write an article or two.. Save article(s) to publish once your site is up. You'll get an idea if you like writing about that niche. I've done a lot of sites, including paying close to $10k to have one built, and I can honestly say, SBI has the whole enchilada in one spot. Why reinvent the wheel? The only negative thing I see about SBI.. and ironically, this is also one of their main benefits.. is they drive me nuts with their endless, rambling information. Seriously, you can spend all your time reading instead of 'doing.' My new, baby SBI site that I'm working on is: Diet-Delivered.com |

Actually i have begun working on creating content... however i am a bit hesitant to continue at full speed when i don't have access to SBI's tools to know whether that niche would be a good choice or not. I am following my gut on that one.. well my gut and what ive observed based on free tools available. Yes it is easy to fall into that trap of reading and learning than doing! I checked out your SBI site and it looks great! Keep up the good work dude

To CiNz.. Thx for compliment on site.. Here's something you can do.. Go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and check some of the keywords you're considering. After the search, look for the box under 'advertiser competition'.. ideally you'll find keywords that don't have that box all filled in And have good search volume. Then I always take those keywords and 'google' them to see how many advertisers there are. Ideally you want lots. One last thing I believe is super important.. Ask yourself how far along in the buying cycle your visitors will be. Look at these two searches: 1. diet delivered 2. toning exercises With '1' they are probably looking for diet food delivery companies so they can order NOW. '2' they're looking for free info on the net for exercises.. they may end up buying something on the site.. but that's not their intention with that search. Play around with the adwords and when you have 3 or 4 that look promising, go to my Diet-Delivered.com site and email me.. better yet comment on my site.. and I'll run those keywords for you through my SBI Brainstormer Dee ---------------------------------------------------------- Last edited by WorkitSmart; 11-06-2009 at 03:56 PM.
