O'er last night and today, I've been building a basic template for a gaming-league site that I'll give out in the form of a social-site kinda deal. There'd be room for people to establish their own advertising, be it something as simple as Google or as involved as what Jack Spirko does with his site, The Survival Podcast, found at TheSurvivalPodcast.com (which I'm actually not a fan of and would only plug enough to make a point). Teehee! Anyway, I was wondering what y'all thought of the endeavor. I'd go into further detail about how I want to expand and etc., but I can hardly maintain focus enough as it is, eh: don't want to get too scrambled to write code.

What makes you think there is demand for gaming leagues?

There're some small-time leagues all over the place; and bless 'em, they ain't all adept at web-design: beyond that, I want to help expand upon people's conceptions of advertising and internet-technologies; so I will give users tools that will work towards those ends. I don't see how giving people an easier time to start a business is going to be too ruinous. Sticking it to MySpace and YouTube and etc. by way of readable and mechanically simple Web 2.0 is also too satisfying to pass up. I need to build some kind of portfolio, as well: but sticking, honestly, is a higher priority.

Are you talking about video games, or PC games?
