Default From 800 to 1800 in 3 months.

3 months ago I had 800 unique hits to my site. Now 3 month later I have 1800 unique hits. Without paying a single penny for advertising so far. I also have had a few more sales. I mostly have been going to forums using my signature, and each day I seem to be getting more unique hits. It seems like the more forums I go to the more hits and sales I get. Just write and article, that might help someone, and they may check out your signature. Plus you get to help someone in return. Stumble Upon is a site that helped me a lot, other people pick up my sight so it gives you extra exposure. I only just started with them, and it will only get better. I may have to pay for advertising at some point, but my wife and I work parttime so we have enough to pay the bills. So we can take are time and build are business slow and solid. Hopefully not spend a lot on advertising and also we should have a better target audience. I was also wondering has anybody else done this. If so I would like to here your opinion. Thanks for listening

Well done, I don't visit too many forums but I always manage to get some traffic and sales from my sig.

I think traffic from forums is a good approach, at least initially. I tend to concentrate on just a few forums though, rather than scattering my efforts to the 4 corners of the web.

That way, through your post count and because your name keeps showing up in the threads, people in that forum start to perceive you as an expert, and they're more likely to click on your signature, check out what you have to offer, and take you seriously.
