I'm curious, how many visitors does your website get currently? How many did your website get after one month? 6 months? One year? Do you have a particular target goal? Or is the sky the limit!? Last edited by MetaFitX; 09-26-2009 at 10:58 PM. |

My new website (4th one) has been up for about a month and is finally attached to google analytics where I am paying attention (averaging about 75 per day...1/3 from this forum). I'd like to hit 200 by year end.

Hey MetaFix - great start! To give you an idea of my traffic growth over the last 18 months, I registered the domain World-of-Lucid-Dreaming.com in April 2008: 1 April = 2 daily visitors! 1 May = 33 1 June = 43 Then I started my inbound link program, article submissions, social networking, and did a press release on the launch of the site: 1 July = 175 1 Aug = 190 1 Sept = 227 (at 6 months) 1 April 09 = 524 (at 1 year) 1 Sept 09 = 723 (at 18 months) My daily stats jump occasionally, for instance when I did my interview on Steve Pavlina, or when I get Stumbled Upon, I can have up to 4,000 hits in one day. But the average at the moment is within the 700-850 range. It's a nice overall upward trend. |

My best website Jobs | Job Search Engines | Job Search | Employment that I started in June of 2007, is getting about 300 unique visors a day. When I promote it it goes up to 500 visitors a day. It is a job search engine and there are alot of people looking for jobs. My other site is a law of attraction and prosperity website call Law Of Attraction and is getting about 20 visitors a day. Link building sucks but I consider it a necessary evil to increase traffic and promote a website. |

My web site had 621 unique visitors today. There are several different referral sites. Many of my visitors are repeat visitors who come back to download my home made audios or listen to them steaming from the web

My main site only gets between 30 to 120 visitors a day, depending on season. That doesn't sound like much (after four years), but it's actually the dominant site in it's niche, with a #1 spot on Google. It's just an extremely small niche.

I average 1800 visitors a day now (3 years old), but really from the start I had pretty good traffic due to having a niche market that was interested (I am one of the biggest men on the planet) and a large population at Bodybuilding.com who came to visit. Most of last year I did not update my website frequently and definitely did not bother to keyword articles to gain traffic, Iwas having too much fun Now I get 5% who type my name in and come direct, about 5% who search my name on Google and the rest come from articles that I have written. With my other websites it is about 2000 a day in total, but I updated them twice in 2 years... My best keyword (and combinations) brings in about 20% of the traffic, working in the movie industry I can get ranked in Google up to 2 years before a movie comes out, giving me an aged article which ranks higher. |

My blog has been up and running for a year now. Last October I wrote a few articles that got stumbled, and got me a lot of traffic, like 1000's of hits per day. I eventually got my first $100 check from Google, and then....it all died down again, back to 10-20 a day. I noticed my Search Traffic was almost nil, and I was using a free template with Wordpress. So I switched over to Joomla and fixed my search engine problem. Now I repeatedly rank in the Number 1 or 2 spot on Google. But it's still the content that gets you visitors. From Sep 1 to Sep 17 of this month I was averaging 17 hits a day, being number 1 or 2 on google. Big whoop. Then I wrote another one of those "MAGIC" articles. And from Sep 18 on I have been averaging 382 hits a day. My Adsense account is increasing accordingly. At this rate I should see another check soon. We've all heard it before - content is king. Just keep writing. I am a member of a google group dedicated to helping each other out with our blogs. Anyone can join, it's Band of Bloggers | Google Groups . I wrote this article the other day, maybe it will help someone - ------------------------------------------------------ "When this group started out, it was inspiring to see all of us try and put our mark on the world with our blogs. And I know it has been said by every successful blogger out there, the secret to a successful blog is, just keep writing. Don't ever give up. Just write....... Today, it seems there's only 2 of us who are consistently here anymore. And that's sad. Because you know what? That secret Imentioned above is true. For over a year now my blog has consistently got about 25 hits or so a day. Sure it's been disappointing sometimes, I mean we all dream of seeing several thousand hits a day, but like we've been told a million times, it just takes time, be patient, and just keep writing. So I kept writing. And you know what? It's a numbers game. Because if you write, every day, or every week, consistently without stopping, eventually you're going to write that one 'magic' article that propels you forward. It's just the law of averages. It has to happen. I wrote that 'one article' about a month ago. It got stumbled, and shot up to over 1200 hits in one day. I was ecstatic! But then I dropped right back down to averaging 20-30 hits a day again. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted right? Back to the grind. Just keep writing. If it happened once, it can happen again. Last Friday I checked my stats and couldn't believe my eyes. Over 900 hits again! On what? I hadn't written anything lately. It was that one 'magic' article - again. The one I wrote over a month ago. The next day, over 500 hits. The next day, 500 more. It has been that way all week. Never less than 150 hits every single day. And my Adsense is adding up quicker too. Nice! Today, at 2pm, I have over 200 hits already, this time on another post I wrote almost a year ago. It has begun. For the first time since I started this blog, I am averaging over 350 hits a day. You might say, is that all? Steve P, or John Doe Blogger, or whomever averages 1000s of hits a day. Good for them. This is me I'm talking about. Mr Beginner Blogger. Mr. 20 hits a day for the last year blogger. And in comparison to that, 350 hits a day is HUGE. I'll take it. And you know what? Maybe I'll eventually drop back down to 20 hits a day again. Somehow I don't think so. But even if I do, I'll enjoy these last 9 days and remember them always. Because like I said, it's a numbers game. If I did it once, I can do it again. The confidence something like this builds is amazing. It will make you feel unstoppable. So for those of you who have stopped posting, maybe because you weren't seeing the results you had hoped for, just remember it's all a numbers game. It just takes time. It WILL happen.....but only if you Just Keep Writing. |

When I fist started about a year and a half ago I got about 40 visits a day. 6 months later I was between 3,000 and 7,000 (about 100,000 in a month). As time went by, I wasn't updating that much and the traffic has gone down since. I'm still not back to my high traffic days and I'd say I get between 200-600 per day now. But I do almost no marketing now (Hmmm note to self: "market site") The good news is all of that traffic gave me some exposure and now I'm writing for some other blogs in my niche |

I've managed my blog as a dilettante for years and averaged 15 unique visitors daily (about 2/3 from my RSS flux) after a 6 month hiatus. I've been trying to improve it over the last couple months, and have doubled that number so far. I'll start publishing guest posts this month, and hope to have a steady minimum of 300 page loads a week before the end of autumn, independently from how often I publish.

| My site averaged 400 visitors a day last month. I started it in January of 2008, and not counting four months of inactivity, I've been pretty steadily building it in my free time ever since. I averaged 69 visitors per day in September 2008, so that's some nice growth. Last edited by Andrew Michaels; 10-03-2009 at 12:14 AM. |

My site has been up just over a year. Last month I averaged 750 unique visitors a day. My site is also an SBI site, I followed the action plan they have and every month the visitors continue to grow. I started with just 1 visitor, that would be me, then it continued to grow each month. So I just renewed with them for another year, the site more than pays for itself.

I've setup my website over a month ago and have been using blogs to advertise it without success. I get maybe 1 visitor/day if I'm lucky. I'm thinking of paying to advertise my site to the general population, see if that works. wwnetsearch.com | Search The Internet |

Man, thank you everyone for sharing your numbers. I had no idea if I were doing well or not. I started my site in May, and am averaging 120 uniques/day. I have had upwards of 500 already. www.CelebMagnet.com I guess i will keep writing! |

I started in April, and am getting around 15 visits a day. I'm going for slow and steady growth, and haven't really done any big promotional strategies yet. I'd like to be at around 70 uniques a day by December. |

At this point I run four websites, my main site getting on average 3000 visitors per month. My other sites hit roughly around 700 to 900 visitors per month. I would like to hit 10,000 visitors to all of my sites combined by December (for xmas shopping!). So we'll see how that goes.

I started my blog on June 12 (last month) and I only got a few visitors so far. One visitor left a comment. I dont have a target goal for visitors as I do not intend to monetize my blog for at least a year if not even more. For now, I am just going to focus on writing quality content. Of course, it is nice to have visitors, but traffic is not my priority at the moment, as I write my blog mostly for myself (to help organize my thoughts). |

I don't have exact numbers here, but I would guess I probably get around 1000 page views a month. Maybe more. I try not to fixate on my traffic, as it is more of a personal site where I explore myself and what is around me. But I invite others to read if they so wish. Alexa.com ranks me 6,786,302. That's not very good, but I like my small, smart audience.
