My website has reached Sustainable Profitability!

Last month, all-about-acupuncture.com earned a whopping $34.44 in Adsense revenue.

With 7 days left in September, it has already earned $29.69 this month, and that's with 3 days of Adsense being disabled due to a technical difficulty (stupid PIN number!!)

My website is a SBI! site, which means I originally paid $300 for a one year subscription to Site Build It. At my current rate of earning more than $30 per month, my website is now paying for itself! It has also been steadily increasing in visitor count and revenue every month since I created it, even when I take breaks from adding new content.

I have sooo much more high-value content planned already! I can't wait to implement it and see the $$$'s go up, up, UP!!!

I have had it up and running since March of this year, but I wouldn't exactly say I've been working on it the whole time.

I used SBI which teaches you important stuff like the strategy for long-term profitability and success, as well as "hands on" stuff like exactly where to type certain keywords into your html so that it ranks highly on the search engines, as well as a thousand other little details.

For the website itself, I used a customizable template to start with, but created the whole thing from scratch, building it on top of the template.

Do that and it'll lower his conversion rate and Google will lower his payments, so you'll earn him less money.

Also if Google detects the clicks as click-fraud they can disable his account.

As far as long term strategy, basically it teaches you how to do exactly what Steve Pavlina does: make high-value content, especially content that people are already looking for but can't find. Also, you need to follow your passion as you do it. Just like Steve has said, do what you love, but make damn sure it's profitable.

With search engine optimization, it is a steep learning curve at first. But after you learn it all, that's it: you've learned it all. Of course, there are always new tips and techniques that are being discovered (stuff like writing an online press release about your website, or making a flickr account with keyword-related images that then link to your website, etc.) SBI teaches you the 95% of SEO that you need to know for the total foundation. You really don't need any of the extra stuff unless you are obsessive compulsive about it.

With website-building, SBI takes all of the hard part out. They let you upload your own website template, or just use their premade ones. Meaning, you don't have to know almost any html at all.
