Well it depends on what you consider as working. It definitely helps when people click on your links, spiders need some time also to visit all those forums. Important for you is that this type of promotion and such as blog commenting, etc.. is not speed ticket to high traffic but it should be slow and good way to slowly raise your visibility. that is the reason SEO is known as "slow" technique and PPC as "fast" one. |

I have been looking at your site for the last few minutes, and I cannot figure out what you do, or why I should stick around. Do you know the seven second rule? I guess I just don't understand what value is your site providing me? I am a green, eco oriented person, and this site did nothing for me. My review: 1. I see "What can I do to be more GREEN" so I think, okay this site will give tips and information on how to BE MORE GREEN. 2. The next things I See is an ad for "Madden NFL 1993" Right then and there, I see the sight in my mind as a spammer "click my links" site. 3. After a minute or two of searching I have still found zero information on "how to be more green" I think I understand your business model, but you have to provide an anchor to tie all of this together. With all of that said, even if you got as many site hits as You-tube you wouldn't be making any more money without some site refinements. Kudos to you for taking action, and trying to make a living on the internet. Simply because you took action and actually have a site up and running you are 90% of the way there. Now all you have to do is some tweaking. Last edited by Liveformx64; 12-21-2009 at 07:42 PM. |

I have no idea what you mean, specifically, but I'll try to throw in some random words. Making things work online takes work. You have to do the right things and you have to do them for a long time. A guesstimate would be 1-2 years. A lot of people expect fast results, but they are often disappointed. Do what you love and working your face off won't be a problem |

How about adding a line below the picture on what is meant by "exchange" and in what way it makes a difference, to help people get the link between "how to be more green" and the offers? (I am sure it is explained on the "exchange" part of the website, but it would make sense to add at least a teaser to the front page to get people curious enough to stay longer than just a few seconds).

I agree that when I open that page I immediately think its just a link page about nothing specific. I pretty much instantly wanted to close that window. You need to provide better and more relevant content to your viewers. Looks like a temporary holding page that people put up when a domain registration has run out and nobody wants to buy the domain. . .
