| I might question the validity of the findings, because the sample group is fairly small (a bit over a thousand), probably localized (a CO Springs-based company) and it was done by a group that teaches youths about entrepeneurship. Not to say they're wrong, and I'm not trying to be argumentative here, just pointing out that it doesn't not seem convincing to me. Excuse me for asking, but what is the purpose of this thread?

| sure traffic is always welcome, however why don't i just put the link here and that way it is much easier. Small Business Startups – Student Startup Winners from FORTUNE Small Business - November 1, 2005 the point is that there are a lot of people who want to control their own destiny, owning a business is one component and i was surprised at the amount.

| having your own business is fun. i did it. its alot more work than i ever imagined. expect that business to fail too, or at least close, once the idea you had fizzles out and you can no longer make a living with it. but the point is, dont let that discourage you. try, try, again. |
