Default How many students plan on starting a biz of their own?

Do you know what the demand is for percentage of students who would rather work for themselves?

You can find the article on our blog under Start up article on the right hand side under Associates.

I might question the validity of the findings, because the sample group is fairly small (a bit over a thousand), probably localized (a CO Springs-based company) and it was done by a group that teaches youths about entrepeneurship. Not to say they're wrong, and I'm not trying to be argumentative here, just pointing out that it doesn't not seem convincing to me.

Excuse me for asking, but what is the purpose of this thread?

the point is that there are a lot of people who want to control their own destiny, owning a business is one component and i was surprised at the amount.

having your own business is fun. i did it. its alot more work than i ever imagined. expect that business to fail too, or at least close, once the idea you had fizzles out and you can no longer make a living with it.

but the point is, dont let that discourage you. try, try, again.
