I've got two accounts on twitter. I got one in a made up name, and then a few months later used a different email address to reserve my real name. Still u'mming and ah'ing about whether to change my current account to my real name as think that would be better long term. Just a bit of a faff. What's really surprising me is that on my real name account I've not made a single tweet and yet have 20 followers! Huh? So yes, so long as you use different email addresses, you can have as many accounts as you like on twitter. But like Plays with Life said, that's a lot of twittering (or is that tweeting - I'm never sure). |

I might start a twitter account (with the purpose of using it). I keep thinking of things I'd like to broadcast, but not necessarily do it on facebook.

Hmmm, I now have 5 people in my twitter account in which I have never posted. Yet you Holi have 20 people following your account that you've never posted from! Tell me, what is your secret in getting four times as many followers as I have, despite the fact that your output is exactly the same as mine |

That's so funny Seeker5 So I went to have a look at what was going on: Rather odd. On my non used twitter account I'm following 20 people and I'm pretty sure I didn't follow any of them intentionally. How would that happen? Also I over sold my followers and am currently being followed by 18 (I've been dumped!) Also I've just realised I had made 1 post, which was a link to an article about how to change your twitter name so that it was in a handy location when I needed it. So my output was 100% greater than yours! |

I may set up a business only Twitter account later on. I'm still not convinced of the Twitter value and I notice that lately I hardly tweet or read others' tweets. I guess I find it too intrusive. Email and blog allows me to set my own pace and focus.
