 Forum Design More Appealing?
Hi Everyone, I have been working on my forum design (see signature) for a while but I am still having trouble gaining enough regular posters at this stage. The design seems to me quite clear and crisp. The background changes randomly on page load to add a bit of freshness and there is a positive random quote at the top to help set the tone for the forum. I have kept advertising to a minimum at this stage so as not to put people off but will add some revenue generating advertising when the forums reach a certain level of activity. Do you have any suggestions to make the forums more attractive to potential members? Many Thanks, James

I just checked it out, I think it has a good clear layout and no need to play with it too much, maybe create some sub groups as the list is quite long - not quite sure how you might organise them.

I really like the colors, there is a lot of energy with them! One thing though, I don't like how the forum is the main page. Your content and articles are kinda lost at the top. I think it should be the other way around. I would prefer the blog to be the main page then have a link to go to the forums. Just a thought

Blue on Blue is a bad choice for fonts. The website also gives a bit an imprision that it got designed by someone who wants to play with various different items in the design. 8 years ago websites looked like that but today they usually don't.
