I have got 50% increase in adsense revenue last month. My blog mystic madness is just 2 months old now. the strategies i used to attract visitors are 1) news submission 2) bookmarking 3)forums 4)groups 5)squidoo traffic from google is still less. i hope it will increase with time. I look forward to 1) write for article directories 2) hubpages right now traffic is 50 unique visitors and 150 page views with 5% bounce rate. any other advice from my friends in this forum for my blog and to increase visitors...........would really appreciate that. |

Thanks for feedback RJ and simona. Earlier also I got feedback from our fellow member David cain and thereafter I did bit of changes. I will definately see if something more can be done about it or it can be updated with something new. Thanks again for taking time out and visiting the blog. |

Thanks for the tips, Mystic. As far as your Squidoo page, did you just make a page dedicated to your site, or what? I have "make a Squidoo page" on my agenda, and I'm trying to determine how to go about. I could put a series of articles on it, for example...

Hi Sirikmn, Both had pointers to my site through introduction and RSS feed. the topics in squidoo were 1) Shoe thrown at politician Shoe Thrown At Politicians 2) Think Different, Think Tangential, ROck Life. Think Different. Think Tangentially. Rock Life Those are basic as of now and I would grow them with time. Basically the idea is to leave various pointers to your website at different places on web. Next in line is Hub Pages which I might try soon. Important- traffic is not much but then it would remain forever and if their popularity grows, it will send readers to my site. Hope this helps. By the way- Nice podcast- I would certainly request you sometime to tell more about it. |

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... Have you experienced this 50% gain from a 50% increase in traffic, or from changing the layout or look & feel of your website/ads? If it was traffic, well then an increase is expected. If it was changing the layout, however, I am definitely interested in hearing about what you did to achieve the gains. |

Yes Curtis. If you see my posts there is two adsensnse block and links each in the post and one in sidebar. Bringging adsense inside the post gave me better results. But i made sure that it does not interfare with content much. regarding traffic, SEO is helping me much. |

Just an update for fellow memebers who had asked me to keep them updated- On 12th of this month I am half way through the income of last month. Not sure what would be percentage increase this month. Even though clicks are ok, the ads in personal developemnt yeild very low pay per click.

Just a quick note to say that article posting does bring traffic, and usually fairly targeted traffic at that. Not many people will click through to your site after reading your article unless they are interested in you and/or what you have to say or offer. It's possible your competition might check you out, but even then if your content is good you may get another blogger to link to you from an article even if they don't post your article. Article marketing works for SEO on a couple of levels and helps increase your overall exposure and the perception of expertise - definitely worth a try. Make sure your articles are good ie. valuable information and not just spammy or ad-like. SEO can be complex and time-consuming and is different for everyone as site content and owner intentions differ, but there are certain basics and articles seem to be one of them. Keep up the good work! Cheers, SMA P.S. Your site/blog looks great! Last edited by SMA; 05-20-2009 at 03:01 AM. Reason: wanted to add something |

Thanks SMA I read many stuff on SEO and then a week back I started using wordtracker to to help me with ideas on posts. To my luck traffic on some posts has indeed increased and it is acting like a gateway for my other articles. Next- I plan to take trial of wordtracker (and yes SBI-site build it -- about which you hear in other threads) and see how more efficiencies can be achieved. I am sure SEO atleast helps to bring a reader to your blog and good content helps you to retain them for longer. 802- till today I have equalled my figures of last month in adsense and now for next 10 days anything above it would be a bonus for me. |

commented on the design in your other thread. what bookmarking and news submissions are you using? don't see many comments on your site, find that ups revenue especially for affiliate products (not so much adsense but more the investment orientated stuff) ...also, if you've got adsense channels running, which of your ads is doing the best out of interest? well done all round alex |

By news submission do you mean sites like digg (how many do you submit to)? Bookmarking means sites like stumble and facebook? What does groups mean? Last edited by runningbird; 07-13-2009 at 06:01 AM. |
