I have a blog that for all intensive purposes I know 100% will be successful (50k-70k visitors a week). Whats the absolute best way to make profit from this blog? Which site should I do it through? Also assuming these were the numbers I was pulling in, how much could I be expecting to make monthly (ballpark figures are fine) Thanks Last edited by alreturnslol; 04-21-2009 at 05:42 AM. |

With such general questions I can only give general answers. The best profit you can get is to sell those visitors what they are looking for on your blog. Which site? Your own, with a shop for the products / services you sell. How much every month? Well how does 100,000 USD / month sound? |

Google ads is easy, but won't pay too much. Recommending other people's products or services (affiliates) would bring more and doesn't bite with Google ads. It also depends if the competition for what you blog is or will become strong. Do some research, try something out. Just add Google ads, see what happens. Doesn't cost anything. In the mean time research affiliates. |

Anyone can SAY they will be massively successful... but there is a reason that not everybody IS massively successful. Can you provide us a link to your blog so we can see it for ourselves?

I'm a bit confused, does this blog already exist? and do you already have that much traffic? If so, you are in an excellent position. I agree with most here, Google ads wont yield the best results. Consider it a back up option. You're much better off signing up with some related affiliate products (if I can look at your blog, I'd give you some suggestions). Also look at selling your own digital products for 100% commission. Then there is nothing to physically produce or stock. E-books are a great way to go. There is no way to estimate what your sales will be until you decide which affiliate or own digital products you're going to sell and at what price. Then you could work out an average profit based on traffic and typical conversion rates. Hope that helps. |

Google Adsense is okay for a tiny bit of income, but as others have said, there are better ways (for yourself and your visitors) to make money and create value.
