anybody here lives in australia?? can someone please give me some rough idea about living, studying and working in australia.... like: -how much is the average pays for college student working partime, -do the employers in australia will even hire a foreign college student that just finished high school?, -how much is the average living cost for a college student living alone?, -is it difficult to find a job there?, -is it possible for someone that just finished high school to move there, get into a college and then, "survive"??? thx before.... patience my friend. average pays, depend on what skills you have and where you want to work. you will need a working visa to get work here average living costs depends where you want to live, how you choose to travel around. same as everywhere else we have a recession happening or about to happen, work may be difficult to find |

Being an International student here can be extremely tough financially. What are you planning to do? What will you study at university? It can cost up to 14k at Melbourne university (where I study) a year just for uni course fees. And then you have living expenses, textbooks etc. If you go to TAFE it can be considerably cheaper. |

TAFE is considerably cheaper - for local students it's like $1000 a year or something cheap like that. I live at home and I tutor maths part time for high school students. My website is Welcome to the Frontpage | |
