Default Any one of you worked for financial service before??

A person contacted me about working for a financial service, actually he wants to meet me for a thorough overview of the company (not an interview or anything) so that I would be more familiar with things. However, even though I did graduate with an Economics degree, I didn't really learn that much about finance since I never took the course. And now I kinda regret it.

So what are some questions that I need to ask so that I don't come off like an airheaded idiot.

Some of the things I have to know are Debt Consolidation Loans, Mutual Fund Investment, Variable Annuities, Long Term Insurance.

It's scary how little I learned about any of this stuff while I was studying Economics in college, it's just ridiculous.

Can someone tell me everything I need to know? Thanks.

Wow, you want someone to rehash everything they know on these topics? Good luck!!

I recommend you look them up online... Suite101 has some experts who may have written some nice summary articles... or try some niche websites that explain this stuff in layman's terms.

I hope your interview goes well...

Try Wikipedia too!

And E-Books Directory - Categorized Books, Short Reviews, Free Downloads has lots of free PDF books. Maybe also on stuff you want.

dont worry buddy. just know the basics in your language and that would work. In services the skill required is more on how to handle customer. The technical knowledge required is less and can be learned during training period easily. They would look more at your soft and interpersonal skills. Be yourself and have basic technical knowledge. You will rock.
