Default Think and Grow Rich

What do you think of the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill?

Steve twittered "Stop applying the lessons from Think and Grow Poor", which could be interpreted at least two ways, firstly as a mere cultural reference, or secondly as an implication that he doesn't like the book.

I ask because I don't have space in my overloaded reading list for a book with such a strong thumbs-down.

I am pretty sure Steve loves the book, (I think it's on his recommended reading page.) My interpretation is that he was telling people that expecting to be poor means you will stay poor. Negativity creates negative results. Think and Grow Rich is all about the opposite of that pessimistic mentality.

Think and Grow Rich is a classic. Read it.

Ouch, I really should have done a minute or two of research before posting this question. Thanks for the link to the recommended reading page, my reading list won't be running dry any time soon. :-)

That's strange that Steve would say such thing about this book because this book is simply amazing and it made thousands of people very rich.

Steve could probably answer this better than anyone else, but I'm thinking that Steve was simply being playful and made up the title "Think and Grow Poor" because it reflects how most people are doing exactly the opposite from what Napoleon Hill recommends in his book... I don't think he's knocking it..

Think and grow Rich is about planing to grow rich than 'Think and grow poor' is about planing to be poor.
And according to IM that not something you should do.

One of the best books out there. I've read the book twice now. It's a really good read with a lot of fundamentals for success.

I am a fan of the book.

I try and read it once a year, as I find that as I develop my business the book opens up more to where I am at.

That's the greatest thing about this book. Everyone finds the answer to their question about money/business.
