hi all! i have been on another threads but in this is the 1st time i post so for those who dont know me: Hi all One thing i always been certain about in life is this:my huge passion is to writte.i just love it.And i writte since i was little. Usually i would never show my writtings to anyone - but some months ago someone told me i would do nice on showing to someone. So i show it to someone i trust: my teatcher of HighSchool who always said to me that i had great skills on writting, specially philosophically. im still waiting for her final word - i asked her to take a look and see what best ways of improving my 1st Piece. As i am waiting, i would like to know what is the best form of having income of a book. already researched and it seems to me that the big editing publishers only want to gain money for themselves, and they give little atention and value fir the authors themselves....i thought it was very rude, there are some that even take advantage over the ones who writte. so...as this is really a passion of mine, i would really like to one day have the possibility to have my personal incoming through this - what is the best way, without having to be dependable of these editing publishers?? is there any form? thank you |

| I noticed the mistakes too, but at least you can have someone correct grammar, and phrasing for relatively cheap! Esp. if you hit up a college student on Craigslist. Looks like you may be typing on a non-English keyboard, so I'm guessing English isn't your first language.

Self publishing however usually means that your book won't hit the shelves of bookshops but only be able to be brought through the internet (amazon etc).

Thanks for the Lulu tip, Brutha -- I recently finished a manuscript and am looking for places to publish. I can't wait to get it on there. BTW, you can also get your self-published stuff on eBay. And remember, just because you self-publish doesn't mean that a publisher won't take your product in the future and publish it as a "real" book. |

You are all very helpfull. im gonna check in some of your ideas.thank you very much. one day you will get to read it , translated into your own language |

While we're talking about ebooks, why are so many ebooks (and other web products) marketed with that long page of text, with the super bold and underlined words. It looks gaudy, but it seems strangely effective. Where does that come from? If I have an electronic product like an ebook to sell, should I do one of those crazy sites? Where does the mold that produce those sites come from? P.s. Isn't it weird how all those sites end in a P.s. I wonder why they do that. P.p.s. And of course they have to say "P.p.s." too. |

Biker, I haven't tried Clickbank -- I've been using e-junkie, which I like a lot. Maybe it's just their site design and color scheme -- it's kind of Firefoxy.
