Default How to write about page when you achieve nothing

Hi I want to start personal development site. I am 21 years old and I have passion about self development. What should I write about my self to overcome my unexperience with topic and view of some people that I am just too young?

I didn't archieve anything that much special( I am not full vegan yet, didn't run the marathon, I don't have much money etc).

Talk about how you are working towards your goals and share insights about the process of reaching one's goals. Talk about your triumphs and your failures. It will make your site interesting to read and just be yourself. Write about your personality and whatnot.

Write about what you know. That's what Pavlina does. He just happens to know more, but don't discount what you do know. You know mroe than you think (and also less than you think).

Fullcrum will become famous soon enough

If you give your audience the gift of your most glorious insights and ideas, it does not matter if you have fully applied them yet.

You can cite examples of other people, including famous people to make a point.

You can talk about little stepping-stones on your journey and derive very cool, interesting and unique points of view from them.

You can express your opinion on the work of others.

On your about page you can write about your commitments, your passions, your desires and your outlooks. You can talk about how your past shaped who you are now.

There are many many topics.

Don't write about yourself. (maybe once in a while)

Your readers only care about *their* problems and if you can offer them solutions you can succeed.

Read Steve's Pavlina Calibration article. Good advice there. link
Also, for some motivation follow Scott Young who has a great blog and he's young. link

Maybe you just have to go out there and do lots of interesting things to be able to write about them?

I understood Rajec was wondering how to write his About page...

Rajec, your passion itself becomes your credibility. Start from that. As you acquire understanding and accomplishments, you can modify the About page.

Hi Rajec,

I think Frances from a blog called Strong Tea has a great About page, and she doesn't talk about accomplishments at all. She just lists some facts that give us a great idea of who she is:

Strong Tea » About Strong Tea

Other than that, you could also write honestly about who you want to be instead of who you are now in your about page.

Later you can adjust this.

Write a blog about how you plan to achieve your goals, then write about your personal experiences. Like a diary.

There are millions of people like you looking for excactly the same thing!
