Just wondering if anyone here has sold an affilate product through twitter?
I'm thinking of doing this with personal develoment products, such as books that I strongly recomend.
Should I make a seperate twitter account to sell these products? Or use my own as I have trusted followers.

I have not sold any affiliate products through Twitter, but I don't think it will work when you create a separate account just for selling stuff. If I follow someone and notice that they are just selling stuff and not sharing anything else, I will immediately unfollow them.

If on the other hand you do share something of yourself and occasionally make a recommendation for a certain product (presell not sell), I don't think anyone would mind and some of your followers might even look into the product. You would probably have to repeat that recommendation a couple of times before anyone would buy it though.

The conversion rate will suck. I haven't tried it myself, but I've seen some famous bloggers try...

And you can't really write a pitch in 140 chars...
