The way people become millionaires is too specific to answer of like that. Everyone has the common reasons like they worked hard and kept trying new things, or they were smart and made investments at the right time and place

I know the fastest, most reliable way that's practically guaranteed. It's not illegal or some kind of scheme. In fact, many have done it literally overnight. However, it's often overlooked in literature on the topic of wealth accumulation. I don't want to make it too easy for you, so I've put the answer below in a word jumble. First one to get it gets 5 smileys.

I'm not marriage-minded myself, but there's nothing wrong with upgrading your lifestyle based on a romantic partnership. Moreover, if your love doesn't last, you are typically entitled to a good share of their resources, unless it's stipulated otherwise in a pre-nup.

Personally, I'm thinking about making my fortune by becoming a gigilo.

I have one:

Create something (a book, movie, cd, etc.) that is worth $100. Give it to a million people, and ask them each for $1 in return.

Begin creating things that are valuable to society, and then deliver that value. On the creation side, just look inside to you in-born human creativity. On the delivery side, get SBI.

You can also:
1. Rob a bank (the smart way)
2. Sell some drugs
3. Sell yourself sexually

I don't recommend any of these, because the money isn't worth the risks.

To be honest, though, $1million won't go terribly far if you're looking to have an infinitely renewable source of wealth. I choose...my own skills, instincts, and wealth-building systems for that end.

Work a $10 an hour job 40 hours a week for only 50 years. Well, maybe 60 years because of taxes.

If you're serious about making money, let's just face the facts, you're either going to have to be a ho or ho someone else.

I got 2 words for ya buddy -

big pimpin'

Hmm, ok, not really.

There isn't a clear cut path to becoming a millionaire. Is Jenna Jameson a millionaire yet? Ha, look at what she does for a living.

If there is a path to becoming a millionaire in your cards, the path is in your heart already. I remember reading an article about a couple of self-made millionaires under the age of 25 on yahoo the other day. One was a girl who made some RIDICULOUS website for pre-teen girls that was just about the most foolish thing I've ever seen. She was probably chewing bubble gum and painting her nails cotton candy pink throughout the interview. You don't have to re-invent the wheel or be a genius to be rich.

lol wow "if there is a path to being a millionaire in your cards the path is in your heart already", what the heck?!?!

Haha, ok here's what I meant by that...

People who tend to make a lot of money are people following their heart, or their passion. There's a million ways to become a millionaire, those who get there and stay there are usually doing something they love.

I do believe in pre-destiny..to some extent...so what I was trying to say is that if it is in your cards to become a millionaire, look for the key in the subjects and areas you already have a passion for to begin with.

Default Earn more than you spend?

Isn't that what we all want? We all want to earn more than we need. But how many of us are actually able to do that?

I do agree with your points on saving and changing our lifestyle. I know a number of people who live beyond their means and depend on credit cards and loans. The first step towards prosperity is to cut wastage.

Talking I read somewhere about....

I read somewhere about a lady from Dallas, Texas. She took $100 and started buying up things from Good Will. She then sold those items on e-bay. Then she took the profits and went back to Good Will. She repeated the process. Within a year she became a millionaire.

This is a true "rags to riches" story.

I read a story online from someone on Reddit who said they made their living doing that.

Seems like a decent idea, although I wonder if the Good Will itself would ever consider selling things directly on Ebay or their own website to increase profits?

I think we should explore more when it comes to getting more money. I mean generating and income. I work so hard everyday. I getting tired.

Well... with ebay alone, we only have 1 source of income... we need to diversify man... we should learn to do more than one....

Learning to leverage your efforts through the 80/20 rule would be a good start. Working as traditional is an old concept, goes back all the way to the industrial revolution and even much further back than that.
