Default Copywright policy. Can somone help me ?

I work for a magazine and found a great website that I want to write about
in my article. I also want to involve quotes from the site. I'm not American or from England so I'll need to translate the quotes from the site, too. Does anyone know if I have the right to do that without paying fees to the site?

I don't what country you're in, but here in the US, there exist fair use exceptions that allow brief quotations under certain circumstances. As long as you reproduce only a small fraction of the site, and use the quotation for genuine review purposes, you would probably be okay, but I'm not a lawyer. I'd recommend googling for "fair use", and if you want to play it safe, consult an attorney who specializes in copyright law. The magazine company that you work for may have a legal dept that you can ask.

Just email the site owner and ask him.
Most people like positive articles about their site.
